Founded in 1980, mission is to certify nurses who provide emergency services across the health care continuum.

The BCEN email list is comprised of all emergency and flight nurses that have earned the CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or CFRN (Certified Flight Registered Nurse) designation. As an affiliate of the Emergency Nurses Association, the BCEN strives to continue evaluation and upgrading the certification examination for emergency nurses.
