ABOUT: AAM
Founded in 1906, the American Association of Museums (AAM) is the only organization representing the entire scope of museums. AAM members are primarily museum professionals, board members and volunteers who work for and with museums and have job titles that include: directors, curators, registrars, educators, trustees, exhibit designers, volunteers, development and public relations officers. AAM members work within a variety of museums concentrating on art, history, science, military, and children's museums as well as aquariums, botanical gardens, historic sites, zoos, science and technology centers.
